Algarve

Europe's most Western point

Southeast Algarve

Portugal is situated in Europe’s most Western point and the Algarve, with a 200 km coastline, is its most Southern province (with Morocco in North Africa on the other side of the Atlantic).

It is internationally renowned for its wonderful beaches with warm waters and white sand, the mild climate during a short Winter and temperatures ranging in the 30ºC between July and August. Nowadays it is home to a large community of foreigners, attracting much tourism during the Summer too.

Its wonderful nature topography, its strong historical-cultural heritage, still with traces of the Arab culture which inhabitated Portugal until the Middle Ages (quite evident in the local architecture), as well as its own healthy gastronomy, keep the Algarve in the top rank of Europe’s best places to spend holidays.

Only 15 minutes from Monte Gordo beach

The Southeast Algarve, where The Prime Energize Hotel is located, is the least explored part of the Algarve. Very near the Spanish border and only 15 minutes from Monte Gordo beach, this 4-star hotel is surrounded by an environment of wide sandy beaches, glowing sunsets and the protected nature reserve of Castro Marim, which you can visit, whose habitat teems with life.

For cultural visits, we recommend the Castro Marim castle, the Milreu Roman ruins, Cacela Velha village with its world-class views and the beautiful centre of Tavira, among many others.
